Songs of the Baltic Sea
I heard human voices and decided to land.
The vibrant folk voices of the Baltic sea.
Songs of hope and songs of fear.
There was laughter and laments,
hymns and wishes – stories out of sweat, prayer and fear.
There were tunes dug out of mud and hymns weaved of hope
– a gathering for singers sharing the unforseen moment.
I was invited to paint the songs of our ancestors.

Las voces vibrantes de los pueblos del mar Báltico.
Hubo risas y lamentos, himnos y deseos, historias desprendidas del sudor, la oración y el miedo.
Había melodías excavadas en el barro e himnos tejidos de esperanza
– Una reunión para los cantantes que comparten el momento imprevisto.
Me invitaron a pintar las canciones de nuestros antepasados.”
